This week was a very interesting week in real estate. Normally there is a surplus of homes coming on the market, but this week it was just the opposite. Especially in the cities of Orange, Pepper Pike, Moreland Hills, Chagrin Falls and Beachwood. In all of these cities only 5 homes came on the market for sale. Yes, you read that correctly... 5! That being said, 2 properties went under contract and 3 sold. That is extremely promising knowing that more properties are coming off the market then ones that came on. Of the properties that came on the market, 3 were in Beachwood, 1 in Orange, and 1 in Chagrin Falls. The highest priced was 90 W. Orange Hill Circle in Orange. That property came on at $469,800.
Of the properties that went contingent, one of them was in Beachwood and the other was in Chagrin Falls. Of the three that sold, One in Beachwood, Pepper Pike and the most expensive was in Moreland Hills at 30 Woodburn Dr. for $780,000. It seems like the buyers confidence is continuing to rise, and while it does we will continue to see more home sales increase.
